"Making An Impact"

"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners"

-Isaiah 61.1, NIV

LifeCare Publishing is a ministry branch of LifeCare Christian Center. It was first established in 2009 as an Imprint with another "parent" publishing company that soon afterward closed. LifeCare Publishing's Editor-in-Chief, Kelly Hawkins, was the Program Director (editor, resource developer/coordinator, etc.) with the former parent company, and she developed 24 resources in her five years of publishing experience there. When the parent company closed, God provided new opportunities, and a new vision for LifeCare Publishing was developed—one that could provide greater ministry options and support for LifeCare in general.

Reestablished in 2013, LifeCare Publishing is now able to provide valuable resources that closely align with the mission of LifeCare as a whole. We have developed THE CALL TO CARE resource kit that we designed to support other churches or ministry organizations in providing their own care ministries and support for those serving in care ministry. Following that, in 2013 we released four other resources: Kelly Hawkins' 4th book, LOVED AS I SHOULD HAVE BEEN; Lillian Easterly-Smith's publication, THE GREAT EXCHANGE: inner healing prayer guide; Lillian Easterly-Smith's, THE CALL TO CARE: Volunteer Training manual; and a journal.
